Jade Chalice

Description

A moody thermal shifting from soft, muted, cool/neutral jade green when warm, and a cool toned, plummy wine red when cold. Closeup in intense lighting, you can see tiny specks of blue aurora through the thermal base; a personal, magical little pick-me-up that won’t interfere with any toppers you might like to layer over this polish. The wine red may appear more mauve/berry depending on skintone. This polish reaches near opacity in 3 coats and has a crelly formula. When in “warm” mode, some subtle visible nail line may show through in 3 coats. It appears fully opaque in 3 coats when in the “cold” berry state. This formula is beginner friendly and easy to apply so long and you give each coat several minutes to dry before adding layers.

Store upright with the cap tightly secured, avoiding heat sources and direct sunlight. If this polish becomes thicker overtime, an acetone free nail polish thinner can be used to restore it to its original viscosity. Thermal nail polishes may lose their ability to transition over time.

Story

Noted by Arclight Arcival Agengy Technician (NAME REDACTED) :
Upon discovering the entrance to the attic study, it was hard not to be immediately drawn to a large, semi translucent green goblet glowing in the waning light of the attic window. The pale green stone was intricately carved with motifs of nature and fantasy, with nearly skeletal fairies dancing with hands intertwined around the chalice. Despite the attic having gone untouched for over five years according to our documents, the goblet was full to the brim with what appeared to be a type of red wine. The wine was decanted to be submitted to REDACTED yet seemed to be returned to the chalice without reason within an hour. No human interference was noted. We’ve consulted with REDACTED and they plan to initiate further isolation testing of the entire artifact. No further textual or visual mentions have been found so far regarding the aforementioned Jade Chalice within the attic study.
