Naiad

Description

A juicy teal crelly polish packed with ultra fine aurora shifting from glowing red, to peach and gold. This is one of my all time favorite polishes and types of finishes! I spent a long time trying to perfect a red shimmer that didn’t lean too pink or orange or overwhelm the base color. This is a semi-sheer formula so please be aware some nail line will be visible after 3 coats. If you desire a more opaque finish, I recommend using a blurring base coat or creme polish under Naiad (some swatches here are pictured with a blurring basecoat).

If your polish becomes thick or hard to apply overtime, you can mix acetone free nail polish thinner and shake vigorously to restore it to its original consistency. Store with the brush cap upright, away from direct sunlight, and with the cap tightened to best care for your polish and reduce any chances of fading. This polish may have a very slight chance of staining for some. I recommend using a basecoat if potential staining is a concern.

Story

Found within the archives of The Ivywylde project: “Sea Fables Explained”

Dog-eared page labeled “NAIAD” was covered with faded sticky. May be deciphered as annotating accuracies depicted by the author. Most are extremely faded and will need further analysis to properly decipher beyond my personal speculations. Among the notes is a newer lined notebook page with the following text scribbled in black marker “NAIADS SPOTTED IN THE WOODS. ALERT ANTHONY IMMEDIENTLY. WHAT FOLLOWS THREATENS IMMEDIENT DANGER: WATCHERS IN THE WOODS”
